I felt so liberated publishing “Leave ‘Em Hungry, A Love Story and Cautionary Tale” that I treated myself to a mushroom hunt.

Entering the Enchanted Forest, eyes relieved by the dim light, I gradually spotted several mushroom characters with whom I entered into dialogue.

My tree friends sheltered me as I sat by a river, contemplating the magic of mushrooms, relaxing my mind, floating downstream.  Come evening, the water reflected a tangerine sky and a pair of intertwined fans drifted by in a flotilla of blossoms.
